The major actions the Council took at its June 8 meeting are detailed elsewhere on this site - expanding activities on Sunday morning and changing the routine for food at fellowship time. There are a few other notes. Council members will take turns offering a reflection to open the meetings instead of just asking the pastors to lead a prayer. In response to a suggestion from a group working on coordinating volunteers, Jean Lepro now has a data base set up with interests and activities of members and friends. The Policy and Procedures Committee is nearing the completion of compiling existing operational policies and will be turning its attention to human resources policies. The next Council meeting will be on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 6:45 p.m. |
