Summary of 2009 Accomplishments

The 2008 Faith and Service Award was presented jointly to Nancy Baumgardner and Keith Von Der Heide.  The committee also arranged special awards:  a lifetime service award to Shirley Robbins and youth service awards to Jessica Veloff and Katy Von Der Heide.
2.   Fall Stewardship Campaign
The theme used by the committee was “From Jesus’ fullness we have all received grace upon grace” John 1:16.  We again conducted our traditional campaign with guest speakers, bulletin inserts, a series of letters and newsletter articles.          
Donna Mullaly,  Jessica Veloff and Katy Von der Heide, and Josh Gormley were the members of the congregation who spoke during the campaign.  Lisa Hart, youth coordinator for the Wisconsin Conference of the United Church of Christ provided our stewardship sermon. The campaign concluded with the dedication of pledges on Sunday, November 15, followed by a luncheon provided by the committee members with the service assistance of the confirmands. For the 2009 budget, 98 pledges were received for a total of $202,575 which represents an 11% increase over 2008.

1. Recognition of Faith and Service Award.
2. Conduct the 2010 Stewardship Drive with the direction of the Trustee Committee to support the 2011 Operating Budget.
