We can work on becoming healthier to do God’s work! Consider signing up on line for the free “Princeton Club Challenge” You don’t have to be a member of the club. Information about how to do that can be found in the December parish nurse tip. By exercising more or losing weight, your efforts can help the Second Harvest Food Bank. Find a buddy and join the Memorial UCC online team. Mark your calendars! The Health Ministry committee and parish nurse have scheduled two very important Sunday health classes during the month of January. The classes will be held between church services from 9:10 until 9:55am on the following dates: January 15th - “Non-medication measures to optimize your cholesterol level” will be led by registered dietician, Susie Swenson. January 22nd - “Prediabetes and diabetes prevention” Led by Sarah Rowe, Adult Nurse Practitioner and member of Memorial UCC. **Fitchburg Community Blood Drive will be held on Friday January 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.at the Tri North Builders at 2625 Research Park Drive. |
