We are in the midst of Advent, that season of anticipation, waiting and preparation for Christmas, when we celebrate God’s presence among us in the person of Jesus.
Saturday, Dec. 24 – Christmas Eve. We will have a family service at 5 where the children can put on costumes of the various characters in the Christmas story. Solveig and Jonathan Schroerlucke will represent Mary and Joseph and their baby Eowyn will be baby Jesus. They will sing a duet as part of the program. Then we’ll have Candles, Carols and Communion at 7 p.m. with more special music from Jonathan and Solveig as well as Michael Bryant and a time to reflect on the wonder of the Christmas story.
Sunday, Dec. 25 – Christmas Day. We do not normally have a service on Christmas Day, but since it falls on a Sunday this year, we will have one service at 10 a.m. This service will include communion.
