When Jean Lepro retires on July 8 after 16 years of running our office (and keeping our staff on track), we will have in place a skilled and personable replacement.
Jamie Schwoerer will be joining the Memorial UCC staff on June 21 as our new office manager. She will work with Jean over the last days of June and the beginning of July to learn the details of the job.
Jamie comes to us with a fascinating background of education, experience and entrepreneurship.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009 with a triple major – communication arts, philosophy and religious studies. ‘
She worked from 2012 to 2014 as an administrator of content and contributors at Patheos, a vibrant online site that hosts a global dialogue about religion and spirituality. So she brings great awareness and skills around the online world.
She served in an executive support role for the vice president of customer service at the Total Administrative Services Corp. (TASC), a company that helps businesses in all 50 states with a wide variety of financial and human resources needs.
And then last year, she began her own dog-training business, Kodiak’s Canine Connection. She also is a volunteer and board member at the East Madison Community Center.
