We will meet on March 2 to discuss the next selection for our church book study is Dear White Christian: For those still longing for racial reconciliation by Dr. Jennifer Harvey.
Dr. Harvey, Professor of Religion at Drake University in Des Moines, specializes in encounters of religion and ethics with race, gender, activism, politics, spirituality, justice, and other aspects of social life. She has spoken and led workshops for faith communities and academic audiences around the nation. She is also a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and keeps her own blog: formations // living at the intersections of self, social, spirit.
