First United Methodist Church (Madison) 2-3 pm: We have been invited to join the Dane Sanctuary Coalition and Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice for a press conference where the faith community will gather and speak up in support of our immigrant brothers and sisters. The event begins at 2 pm at First United Methodist Church, followed by a walk to the Capitol for the Madison area Families Belong Together rally.
If you have a Memorial UCC t-shirt, you are encouraged to wear it (and if you do not yet have one, shirts are available for purchase in the gathering space outside the sanctuary. You may bring a poster too! We will be making posters for the event 5-7 on Wednesday, June 27.
